The 16^th International Wood Construction Conference IHF 2010 took place in Garmisch-Patenkirchen from 1^st– 3^rd December 2010.

The article "Solid timber construction with cross-laminated timber – evidence of conformity on the basis of the European draft standard" reported about the CLTdesigner and the implemented methods for bending design of plates loaded in bending (transversal shear).

It is specifically stated that the versions of the CLTdesigner in other languages are translations of the Austrian version. Therefore, any potential dissimilarities with engineering design standards in other countries cannot be ruled out.

The CLTdesigner was presented in Riva del Garda during the World Conference on Timber Engineering WCTE 2010 from the 20^th until the 24^th of June 2010.

The Holzkurier 17.10 reports on the automated and therefore easier design of cross laminated timber elements using the CLTdesigner.

The Version 1.1.1 includes the Italian translation of version 1.1.

It is specifically stated that the version of the CLTdesigner in Italian is a translation of the Austrian version.
Therefore, any potential dissimilarities with engineering design standards in Italy cannot be ruled out. When differences due to translation are identified, the version in German shall take precedence.

In addition to the module „Continuous beam“ the module „Internal forces“ was included in version 1.1.

With this module it is possible to carry out the cross sectional verification including the verification of stability based on given internal forces.
